The camelina of Chiemgau has a delicate flavor with nutty note. It gives dishes a distinctive, rounded flavor. In France, it has long been used as a delicacy oil in salads. In addition, camelina oil goes well with cooked vegetables, potatoes, or can be used for steaming, marinating or for preparing special pesto.
For our fine camelina seeds of camelina are cold pressed, filtered and bottled the oil without further treatment. So the excellent taste and the valuable ingredients remain: it is very rich in omega-3 fatty acids and vitamin E.
